Eighty-six percent of physicians and practice managers responding have made secure communications a priority in 2022. Fifty-five percent of large clinics and physician groups report they have implemented process improvement leads at their organization that are working on mitigating security gaps in clinical workflow and improving mobility.
Ninety-six percent of physicians responded are concerned for their practice's data security and that their information systems could still be breached in 2022.
Based on practice management respondents, more than 85% of patient data in Q3 2021 was being shared through unsecured methods among and from physicians.
